Chemical sunscreens absorb the UV rays into the skin and destroy it by creating a chemical reaction. Although they are smoother in application, they can cause irritations on sensitive or acne prone skin.

Outdoor activities -> SPF 30/PA+

Swimming or hiking -> SPF 50/PA+

-       Apply at least 15minutes prior to leaving the home

-       Don’t forget to apply to areas other than your face such as ears, neck, lips, hand, and feet.

-       Cover your body with clothes if you can’t apply sunscreen.

-       For those with little or no hair, apply to the scalp as well.

-       Sunscreen washes off due to sweat, so reapply every 2 hours.

-       Avoid outdoor activities between 2~3 pm when UV rays are the strongest.

Caution:

*  Do not apply sunscreen to babies under 6 months old.

*  In the case of children, it is good to test the cream on the inner wrist to check for allergic reactions.

*  If you have allergic reactions or irritations from using a sunscreen, stop usage immediately and consult a specialist.
